As part of the OSTRICH project, the project team at the University of Derby have recently completed an internal evaluation of the work completed to date. This consisted of a survey and video interviews with key academic staff at the University.
In total the project team received 124 completed surveys over a six week period. Of the 124 completed responses 92 were identified as from staff within the University. The other 32 responses were identified as on-line students.
All participants were given access to released OER material released by Derby to the Bath repository. Once the participants had reviewed the OER material, they were then offered the chance to complete an already created survey.
The information from the surveys is being used for the final report being prepared for delivery in August 2011.
